We have lived in the mid-west our whole life and heated our home(s) with a wood burning stove for the past 40 years. Currently we are using a custom built stove that fits the size of our home (2000 sq. ft.), our heating system (forced air), and the location of the chimney.
The heat from a wood burning stove is a warm, dry, comfortable heat that has sustained our home on cool fall days and when blizzards raged outside.
We would like to share the information gained from many years of building stoves, cutting wood, keeping our family and home warm.
